Andhra Pradesh government was the first to launch an initiative to put a full stop to the increasing rate of crimes. They launch an innovative virtual cybercrime awareness program in the name of “E-Raksha Bandhan.”

The basic aim of this program is to create awareness among the people about the alarmingly increasing rate of Cybercrimes in Andhra Pradesh. Under this program, the government will launch a month-long online program over FM radio channels, organized by the Crime Investigation Department (CID), Cyber Crime Prevention against Women and Children (CCPWC), and Cyber Peace Foundation (CPF).

The slogan raised by the government and CID for the E-Raksha Bandhan program is “Let us make August a month of e-freedom and e-safety.”
